Here's a bag by Meghan. I love the colors, but what I am most impressed with is that this is her very first project. Didn't she do an AWESOME job? Now, she readily admits she had some issues but also admits they were of her own making. But she persevered and did a great job. See, even a very new beginner can get great results! It's not hard!

Mar used Lamb's Pride Bulky (one strand) for this version of the Panes bag, and used a double strand for the cords. Doesn't it just scream "FALL" ???

I love it! Nice job, Mar!

You might have seen this bag on my blog. This was knit by Jennie, 10 years old. I am so proud of her! She did such a great job. She is working on adjusting the pattern to make a smaller version. I see great things ahead for this young knitter!

This bag was knit by Jennie's mom, Cindy. They were so much fun in class. I really love the color combination of this one. Cindy told me she and Jen are getting lots of comments and compliments everywhere they go with their Panes bags!

This is my friend Debbie's Panes Bag. I felted it for her this week because she has a front-load washer and it's a "pane" to felt in those! (I have one too, but when we got it, I saved the old washer which is now my felting machine) Debbie is one of the BeeGees and we have such fun together. Deb used Lamb's Pride for her bag, and I just LOVE the color combo (of course, I did help her pick them out)

My third Panes bag...knit with heathery shades of Cascade yarn.

This is another bag I knit, this time using the final version of the pattern. You will notice it is taller (having more color repeats) and has a slightly bigger diameter. This bag is usually on display at the yarn store where I work.

This is my original bag that I knit as I was designing. The test knitters did their bags using this original pattern, but the other bags are knit with the final version of the pattern which is slightly bigger around, and also taller.

Panes done in classic black & gray. This wonderful version was done by Jane, a great friend, test knitter, and supporter of my efforts. Thanks for everything, Jane!

Panes by Deb. Love the colors in this one. Deb was one of the test knitters for my pattern. She used a couple different kinds of yarns for this one. It's a good bag for using up scraps! Nice job, Deb!

This is my sister Diane's Panes Bag. She used Galway Black for the main color, and the brights are Kool-Aid dyed Fisherman's wool. Check out the handles!!!

Kim's Panes Bag. Kim is a member of our BeeGees Knitting Group. She knit this lovely specimen in Lamb's Pride.
Beee-yoooo-teee-ful!

Miri's version of the Panes Bag. Miri is in our BeeGees Knitting Group. She used Cascade in shades of blues, purples and green for her bag. Love it!
